Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series

Newest member of AMG GT family - The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series for Sale
The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is the most extreme road car AMG has built. It uses a track-bred 720 hp flat-plane-crank V8, aerodynamics developed from the AMG GT3 racing programme, and a rear-wheel-drive layout with no compromises. This 2022 example is in High Tech Silver with a black interior and has covered only 26 km. It is available now at Dourado Luxury Cars in Al Quoz, Dubai.
Built for the track, approved for the road
The Black Series was engineered to be the fastest and most powerful AMG GT ever. Its Nรผrburgring lap time of 6:43.616 made it the fastest production car around the circuit at launch, a record that came from its racing-derived design and not from straight-line power alone.
Engine. Under the long bonnet sits a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a flat-plane crankshaft, a design usually reserved for race engines. It produces 720 hp and 800 Nm, responds instantly to the throttle, and delivers a sharper, higher-pitched sound than any other AMG V8. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. The car reaches 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h. At launch it also posted a Nรผrburgring Nordschleife lap time of 6:43.616, a production-car benchmark.
Exterior
The silver paintwork on this AMG GT Black Series shows off a body that is mostly carbon fibre. A vented carbon bonnet and a GT3-inspired grille lead the front end, with an adjustable carbon splitter, dive planes at each corner and enlarged air intakes that feed the V8. Carbon fender outlets, side skirts and mirror housings continue down the sides, and the roof, tailgate and door handles are carbon as well. At the rear, a two-stage carbon wing with an active upper flap and a large diffuser generate real downforce at speed. Lightweight forged AMG wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres complete a look that is built for function as much as for show.
Interior
Inside, the black cabin is focused on the driver. Carbon-finished AMG bucket seats hold you in place, and a titanium AMG roll bar and carbon door sill guards add to the race-car feel. Despite this, the car keeps the comforts expected of a Mercedes, including the Keyless-Go package, a Burmester surround sound system and driver assistance features such as lane departure warning and blind spot detection. It is a two-seater with no rear seats and nothing unnecessary, so you sit in a cabin made for driving.
Aerodynamics. Every visible part of this car has a job. A carbon-fibre vented bonnet releases heat from the engine. The front splitter has adjustable track positions, and dive planes sit at each corner. A two-stage carbon rear wing with an active upper flap adds downforce at speed. Carbon-fibre is used across the roof, tailgate, side skirts, mirrors, door handles and rear diffuser, and even the driveshaft and torque tube are carbon to cut weight.
Carbon fibre. This car has the AMG carbon exterior package and a carbon roof, which reduce weight and add to the car's aggressive look.
